Kay Finch Ceramics

Kay Finch Ceramics began in 1939 in a studio next to Kay and Braden Finch's home in Corona del Mar. With their early success they moved to a studio and Kay Finch Ceramics retail showroom on the Pacific Coast Highway. Animals were a specialty, especially dogs. Figures of "Godey" couples were also produced as well as Christmas plates and tableware.
After Braden Finch died in 1962, Kay Finch closed the business. Some of her molds were sold to Freeman-McFarlin of El Monte, who also contracted with Kay for new designs.
Kay Finch died in 1993.
